A Ding Dong Verily

It's the annual carol singing night in the village of Great Itchcombe. The carollers are gathering in readiness to spread Christmas cheer around the streets, but underlying tensions lie just below the surface. Broken romances, bitter rivalries, long-held resentments, and a temperamental tea urn aren't even the half of it. When a stranger arrives threatening to sabotage the whole event, he sparks a series of revelations and an explosive conclusion to the evening. Based (loosely!) on true events and real-life residents of Cropredy, the play humorously captures the small scale drama of village life.
